Describe this image here

Challenge

Developers integrating the API had no structured endpoint reference. Authentication logic, request structure, and error handling were documented inconsistently or not at all, which pushed integration questions onto the engineering team and slowed time to first successful call.

Describe this image here

Process

Reviewed every endpoint and traced the authentication flow end to end. Documented request and response schemas with field-level parameter descriptions and type constraints. Wrote integration examples for the most common merchant use cases. Documented error responses and their causes. Restructured the whole set into a consistent reference format so any endpoint page could be read the same way.

Outcome

Delivered a consistent API reference structure covering authentication, endpoints, schemas, and errors. Reduced ambiguity around parameter behavior and gave the integration team a single reference to point developers toward.
